Community Service
At Lake
Champlain Chocolates, caring for our communities and our environment is rooted
in our vision. We feel it is our responsibility to spread what we call "Vermont
charm" and to preserve the rural sophistication of Vermont. We are proud to
contribute 10% of our pre-tax profits annually to non-profit organizations and
programs.
Lake Champlain Chocolates is a proud sponsor of community groups in and around
Chittenden County, Vermont. We support the World Cocoa Foundation,
The Flynn Theater, the
Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, and the
United Way.
Please take a moment to read our donation guidelines. If you meet these guidelines, we encourage you to request a donation of product or cash contribution.
- We support organizations whose focus is on the arts, education, and sustainable agriculture. Please note that we do not sponsor individuals or religious programs.
- Donations are reserved for non-profit organizations. You must have your 501(c)(3) IRS status.
- Vermont-based community groups and organizations are our focus.
- Preference is shown for organizations filing their first request.
How to
Apply for a Donation
If after reading the above criteria, you feel your organization fits with our
goals, please follow the instructions below.
Chocolate Product Donations
We support local nonprofit community organizations with product donations. If you
have an upcoming event in Vermont, please complete the product donation request form. We ask for a minimum of 4
weeks notice to process your request. You will receive a response to your
request in writing within 3 weeks. No phone calls, please.
Cash Donations
Cash donation requests are reviewed once a year. This year's deadline for
requests is March 15th. If your event occurs after this deadline, please try us
again next year. You may apply for a cash donation by submitting in writing (on
your organization's letterhead) to: ATTN: Cash Donations, Lake Champlain
Chocolates, 750 Pine Street, Burlington, VT 05401. We receive hundreds of
donation requests every year; please be advised that we are unable to fulfill
every request, even if your organization meets all of our criteria. No phone
calls or emails, please.
Sponsorships & Advertising Opportunities
Sponsorship & advertising opportunities are evaluated twice a year. This year's deadlines are March 1st and August 1st. If your event occurs after this deadline, pelase try us again next year.
You may apply for sponsorship & advertising by submitting a request in writing (on your organization's letterhead) to:

Or, you may also email these sponsorship & advertisting requests to sales@lakechamplainchocolates.com. We receive hundreds of sponsor and advertising opportunities each year; pleae be advised that we are unable to fulfill every request and select only those which further our marketing and company vision and fit within our budget. No phone calls, please.
